Talent he Would Most Like to Have: Singing

Most Underrated Aspect of His Position: Awareness. "It's highly underrated. A lot of times, there's a clock that goes off in your head and the ball has been released already. It's timing. It's just a feeling. It's a talent that you work on with your quarterbacks, but it's something that you must have inside you."

Avant hosts an annual Christ First Football Camp that alternates between his hometown of Chicago and Philadelphia.

Patrick and Kayla Glover from Fall River, Mass.

Patrick Glover's road to becoming an Eagles fan was paved by an act of rebellion.

Born in Holyoke, Mass. and raised in Chicopee, Mass., the 33-year-old Glover's birth as an Eagles fan came when he was 12 years old watching No. 12 - Randall Cunningham - play. Glover's mother and her family were Steelers fans and wanted Patrick to fall in line. He didn't want anything to do with them.

"I was the kind who didn't like having things forced on me," Glover said. "I never cared for the Steelers, but when I saw Randall Cunningham play, I fell in love with the Eagles."

Avoiding his family was one thing, but Glover lives in the heart of Patriots country. Through the ups and the downs the Eagles have endured over the years, Glover never considered supporting the region's team.

"(The Eagles) were my team. You pick a team and you stay with that team," Glover said. "I always loved watching the defense. I loved the Buddy Ryan years."

When Glover became a parent of his own, he didn't want to force his children to pick a rooting interest. Glover's wife, Liz, is a Patriots fan. Their oldest daughter, 12-year-old Jessica, sided with New England. However, 9-year-old Kayla, known as daddy's little girl, cheers for the team in midnight green. In fact, Kayla already owns five jerseys - Michael Vick is her favorite player - and she has been brave enough to sport her Eagles jerseys in school. And kids will say the darndest things.

"The kids said, 'No, don't wear that,'" Kayla recalled. "I didn't care what anybody else thought."

Patrick has had to deal with the Patriots' success. He even lost a bet on Super Bowl XXXIX and had to wear a Tom Brady jersey. But the bond that the Eagles have helped build between he and his daughter, Kayla, have made all of those times worthwhile.
