Wolff Inactive For Eagles

Posted Dec 29, 2013

ARLINGTON, TX - Safety Earl Wolff is inactive for tonight's Eagles-Cowboys showdown for the NFC East title. Wolff was questionable with a knee injury that he re-aggravated in last Sunday's win over the Bears. The initial injury, which he incurred on November 10 in Green Bay, forced him to miss four games.

Wolff was on the field and took part in pre-game warm-ups before the Eagles released their inactives.

Defensive end DeMarcus Ware is active after being listed on the injury report as questionable with an elbow injury suffered during the week of practice.

Quarterback Tony Romo is out after undergoing back surgery and linebacker Sean Lee is out with a neck injury.

Here are the rest of the Cowboys inactives: cornerback B.W. Webb, safety Jakar Hamilton, defensive end Martez Wilson, linebacker Ernie Sims and tackle Darrion Weems.

The Eagles are also without safety Colt Anderson (knee) and backup center Julian Vandervelde (back) due to injury. Rookie tackle Matt Tobin is active in place of Vandervelde.

Here are the rest of the Eagles inactives: quarterback Matt Barkley, cornerback Curtis Marsh, tackle Dennis Kelly and running back Matthew Tucker.
