“I’m having a blast. I love football and we’re winning games. That’s what I love,” said Cooper. “We’re all doing our part in this thing.”
Cooper’s part has been as a big-play maker. He’s been able to get deep and connect with quarterback
On Sunday, Cooper had a gigantic impact in the third quarter. With the Eagles ahead 10-3, Cooper capped a three-play, 84-yard drive when he got behind the defense and came back, looking into the sun, and made a diving catch of a wobbly Foles pass.
“I just went and got it,” said Cooper. “That’s my job. Nick threw it up there and trusted that I would find a way to make the play. I was fortunate that I did. The sun was tough, but I saw the ball and got it.”
Later in the quarter, with Green Bay within 20-10, Cooper ran an in-and-out route to catch a Foles pass on the left sideline and race into the end zone from 32 yards for the score.
“Everybody is doing his part in the offense,” said Cooper. “On the team, really. We’ve won two straight and now we get back into the division (home on Sunday against Washington) and we need to keep playing good football, with everybody contributing.”
