"I was just out on the field just saying to myself it wasn’t supposed to end like this," Vick said. "But I think God has a defined plan for everything that goes on in everybody’s lives and all of the guys in this locker room and it all remains to be seen. So we just have to keep the faith and keep believing and just pray that better days are ahead and I think they are."
Vick is focused on delivering a fourth straight win to help the team finish the season with a .500 mark. However, he has also started to plan out what will be his first full offseason as the Eagles starting quarterback. Vick entered 2010 as the backup before winning the starting job. “I just hope I don’t overload myself. I’m so motivated. ![]()
While Vick didn't divulge the details on what he wants to improve, he did say that he hopes to have wide receiver ![]()
"We all love DeSean. Coach (Andy) Reid loves DeSean. Everybody loves DeSean. He’s our guy. That’s our little brother, he’s my little brother. And we depend on him and rely on him just as much as he depends on us and relies on us," Vick said. "So it all remains to be seen and we just have to take a step back, exhale and assess our situation."
First things first, the Eagles look to continue building momentum towards 2012 with a win Sunday over the Redskins.
