Will he, or won't he? Quarterback
After practice, Vick spoke to the media.
"There wasn't too much I couldn't do," said Vick, who did not take part in the team portion of practice.
When asked if he could play on Sunday, Vick was unable to commit.
"I don't know. I don't know. It's too early to say," he said.
Vick was on the field Tuesday wearing his helmet while sporting a white long-sleeved thermal shirt under his practice jersey and gray sweatpants.
The Eagles will release their initial injury update of the week on Wednesday.
Vick was encouraged by his participation in practice on Tuesday.
"I was surprised I was able to throw and throw with such velocity," said Vick.
Vick underwent an MRI on Monday and said all he knew about the injury is that it is a "hamstring injury. Feels like any other pull. We're just trying to work through it, work the knot out and get it up out of there."
Vick said "I feel a lot better than I did on Sunday. Sunday was kind of agonizing. It was tough. It was tough to deal with but I'm glad with where I'm at today."
The veteran quarterback will take treatment all week and will prepare as if he is going to play. That decision, however, likely won't come until late in the week.
"I've just got to keep working," said Vick, who said he has had only one other hamstring injury in his career and that he was able to get back on the field "pretty quick" after that injury when he played for the Atlanta Falcons.
"You don't want to put yourself in a position where you can't get back out there for two or three weeks," said Vick. "We're playing it smart. The coaches told me to come out and do whatever I could. I came out and threw the ball just to get a feel for what I could do. I know my body better than anybody else. You don't want to strain it, you don't want to do anything to make the injury worse."
