Rumor Mill is an aggregation of Eagles-related reports, rumors and wild speculation. The team does not endorse these items.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported on Monday that Jacksonville assistant head coach/offensive line coach Doug Marrone "will interview" with the Eagles.

However, Comcast SportsNet's Reuben Frank shot that down Tuesday afternoon stating that Marrone's name is one "you can rule out for Eagles head coach" adding that he is "not on the Eagles' list."

Marrone joined the Jaguars in 2015 after two seasons as head coach of the Buffalo Bills. He won nine games in 2014, the most in a decade, and became just the third coach in franchise history to win 15 games in his first two seasons. Following the 2014 campaign, Marrone exercised a clause in his contract that allowed him to opt out if there was a change in ownership.

This article will be updated with all of the latest rumors involving Marrone.
