Rogers, Hosley Downgraded To Out

Posted Oct 26, 2013

UPDATE: The Giants downgraded starting defensive tackle Shaun Rogers and cornerback Jayron Hosley from doubtful to out on Saturday afternoon, per multiple reports. Look for rookie defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins to step up in Rogers' place. Hankins made his NFL debut in the Week 5 matchup against the Eagles.

The New York Giants released their injury report Friday afternoon for Sunday's matchup against the Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field.

Running back David Wilson remains out with a neck injury that he suffered the last time the two teams met on October 6, while fellow running back Brandon Jacobs did not practice all week because of a hamstring injury and is officially listed as doubtful. That means Peyton Hillis is in line to get his second start after being signed as a free agent on October 16.

Defensive tackle Shaun Rogers (knee), who had his best game of the season against the Eagles as a disruptive force inside, also has not practiced and is listed as doubtful. Same goes for cornerback Jayron Hosley (hamstring), who was a limited participant throughout the week.

Tight end Adrien Robinson (foot) and cornerback Corey Webster (groin) were both limited participants in Friday's practice and are listed as questionable, while linebacker Spencer Paysinger (ankle) and cornerback Terrell Thomas (knee) are listed as probable.

The Eagles released their injury report earlier in the day, with the biggest news being that quarterback Michael Vick is probable.
