Report: WR Woods Visits Eagles

Posted Apr 16, 2013

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported that the Eagles hosted former USC wide receiver Robert Woods for a pre-draft visit.

The 6-0, 201-pound Woods was a first-team All-America selection in 2011 and followed that stellar season with 74 catches for 849 yards and 11 touchdowns last year for the Trojans. In three seasons, Woods had 32 touchdown catches.

In his latest rankings, Tony Pauline of moved Woods from No. 9 among this year's receiver class all the way to No. 3 behind Tennessee's Cordarrelle Patterson and West Virginia's Tavon Austin.

Woods has been projected to go either late in the first round or early in the second round.
