Report: Eagles' Search Almost Over

Posted Jan 16, 2013

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday morning that "it's possible" the Eagles could name a new head coach later today.

Rapoport tweeted that his "sense is the Eagles search is heading down the home stretch," but he did not name a specific candidate.

The Eagles held a second interview with Seattle defensive coordinator Gus Bradley on Tuesday, who is reportedly in Jacksonville to meet with the Jaguars on Wednesday. They interviewed Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and former Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt on Monday. The Eagles have also recently interviewed former Bears head coach Lovie Smith.
