Offseason Program Countdown: 52 Days

Posted Feb 28, 2014

Believe it or not, the beginning of the Eagles 2014 season is rapidly approaching. Players will report back to the NovaCare Complex on April 21 for the start of the Eagles offseason program. Join us as we count down until the Eagles are back in town …

Defensive lineman Bennie Logan, the Eagles' third-round pick (67th overall) out of Louisiana State in the 2013 NFL Draft, enjoyed a solid and productive rookie campaign, despite not becoming the full-time starter at nose tackle until the ninth game of the season. He helped anchor a run defense that ranked 10th in the league and allowed just 104.4 yards per contest and proved his ability to collapse the pocket on passing downs. All told, Logan had 52 combined total tackles (43), sacks (2.0) and quarterback hurries (7). He is a vital part of a young defensive line that was touted as a major bright spot on the team, a unit around which the defense can be built moving forward. Logan will look to expand his role and elevate his level of play even further in 2014.

Vic Lindskog

Selected by the Eagles out of Stanford in the second round (13th overall) of the 1942 NFL Draft, Vic Lindskog debuted in 1944 and played his entire eight-season career in Philadelphia, where he starred as a center and linebacker. He was part of the franchise's first two NFL Championship teams in 1948 and 1949 and made the Pro Bowl in 1951, his final season. Lindskog played in 78 games as an Eagle, including 36 starts, and recorded four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown) and five fumble recoveries as a linebacker.
