"I wish I could give you a definite answer, but I can't right now," Vick said.
Vick added that he has not fully tested the hamstring. He does not want re-aggravate it. However, Vick did say that he's "optimistic" about being available for Sunday and that if he continues to progress over the next couple of days he believes he will be able to play.
Vick has missed the last two games for the Eagles.
Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur told reporters prior to practice to not read too much into Vick taking the first-team reps Tuesday.
"Mike will be out here taking the first-team reps," Shurmur said. "He'll be out there practicing and taking the reps. I wouldn't encourage you to assume anything. Coach (Kelly) has talked about it - who the starter will be is based on the health of the quarterbacks. He'll be out there working today with
Vick originally suffered his hamstring injury in the second quarter of the win over the New York Giants three weeks ago. The Giants will be the Eagles' opponent Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.
