After the team surrounded McCoy, he was carted off the field but was sitting up and was conscious. Head coach Andy Reid confirmed shortly thereafter that McCoy had indeed suffered a concussion.
Asked if he regretted giving McCoy the ball in that situation, Reid said, "No."
"We're trying to win the game," Reid said.
Tight end
McCoy had 15 carries for 45 yards on the day and did not have a rush that exceeded nine yards. He did make plays in the passing game though, especially on screens, as he finished with six catches for 67 yards.
