"The biggest thing is the main goal is to get to the Super Bowl," McCoy said reflecting on the just-completed season. "I would trade it all for a Super Bowl."
McCoy and Jones-Drew each shared with one another what they admire about the other player's game.
Jones-Drew raved about McCoy's elusiveness and "the way he can make two, three guys miss without even looking at them." He also praised McCoy for his vision and speed, which are things "you can't coach." He also joked about how McCoy is able to be so good at protecting the football (321 touches - fourth in the NFL - and only one fumble) while holding it so far outside of his body.
McCoy loves Jones-Drew's attitude. Even though Jones-Drew is only listed at 5-7, McCoy said he plays like he's 6-6. McCoy also admired how Jones-Drew can take over a football game and the way he pounds defensive players as he "never lets the first guy take him down."
McCoy and Jones-Drew will battle one another in Sunday's Pro Bowl at 7 PM (EST) on NBC.
