Maclin spoke after practice and sounded as if he intends, and expects, to play against Baltimore.
"I'm hopeful. It feels a lot better now than it did earlier in the week," said Maclin, who suffered a hip pointer and has tenderness in his hip flexor suffered last Sunday.
When asked what he feels could hold him back at this point from playing Sunday, Maclin said, "Nothing."
Still, it's a wait-and-see situation for both players. Jackson, whose hamstring tightened up on him in practice on Wednesday, did not speak to reporters on Friday. Head coach Andy Reid said he is taking the positive approach with both players.
"I'm hopeful to have them," said Reid.
"I'm just excited to get out there," said Johnson, who made his NFL debut last week. "Anything they ask me to do, I'm fine doing it on special teams, offense or whatever.
UPDATE: The Ravens released their injury report for the week, which includes two key defensive players listed as questionable. Linebacker Paul Kruger (back) and defensive end Pernell McPhee (knee) are both listed as questionable after participating in practice this week on a limited basis. Starting center Matt Birk (thigh) and safety Ed Reed (thigh) are listed as probably, while backup offensive lineman Jah Reid (calf) has been ruled out.
