Laws tweeted Wednesday night that it's "time for me to take this show to STL" and his Twitter profile was changed to reflect that he now plays for the Rams. Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported a short time later that Laws, indeed, agreed to terms on a one-year deal.
In St. Louis, Laws will play for new head coach Jeff Fisher, who previously worked in Tennessee along with Eagles defensive line coach Jim Washburn.
A second-round pick (47th overall) out of Notre Dame in 2008, Laws is coming off a season in which he notched a career-high 40 tackles and 16 quarterback hurries. In 56 career regular season games (two starts), Laws had 86 tackles, 5.0 sacks and an interception.
The Eagles have worked on the defensive tackle position quite a bit this offseason. ![]()
