Inactives: Cardinals-Eagles

Posted Nov 13, 2011

After failing to attend a team meeting Saturday morning, wide receiver DeSean Jackson has officially been ruled inactive for Sunday’s matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. This marks only the fourth game in the four-year veteran’s career in which he will miss a start. In his place, Jason Avant will get the start. Guard Evan Mathis, who did not practice this week because of a toe injury, is also inactive. In his place, King Dunlap will start at left guard. Rookie safety Jaiquawn Jarrett will start in place of Nate Allen, who suffered a concussion last week.

Former Eagle, and current Cardinal starter, Kevin Kolb will not start at quarterback because of a nagging toe injury. In his place, 6-6 slinger John Skelton will get the nod. It will be the second-year quarterback’s sixth career start.

The full list of inactives for both teams is listed below:

Eagles: QB Kafka, WR Jackson, T Justice, G Mathis, DE Hunt, CB Marsh, and S Allen

Cardinals: QB Kolb, WR Williams, TE Heap, TE Housler, T Batiste, LB Porter, and FS Rhodes
