On injuries sustained in the game: "(T) Austin Howard has a little knee inflammation. That was about it as of today."
 
On the victory: "My compliments to the Browns. (Head Coach) Pat (Shurmur) has done an impressive job with the limited amount of time that he has had to get that group together. My hats off to (General Manager Tom) Heckert and (President Mike) Holmgren. I'm very impressed with what they have had to do and put together. I thought our guys played a little bit better this week. There are plenty of things to work on, but it was a better performance. We still have to clean up some things on both sides of the ball. I thought the defense was flying around and the corners challenged the ball when it was in the air and ended up making some nice plays. I thought the defensive line was able to get some pressure. I thought the linebackers played a pretty good game. We played them a lot in different spots, and from what I could see, they did a nice job. Offensively, I thought we started off slow, but we started to pick it up. We started off in no-huddle because we wanted to work on that a little bit. There is a little different terminology that we use in there against a team that really knows all of our old calls, so we changed some things up and we probably tricked ourselves a little bit. It was good to work on it, and it was something that we needed to work on. In terms of special teams, I thought the kicker (Alex Henery) kicked well and the punter (Chas Henry) punted well."
 
On what led to some of the initial confusion on the offensive line: "It was a combination of things there. It wasn't necessarily the terminology. There was a little confusion in a lot of areas there. It was a combination of things. It was a combination of the set-up point by the quarterback, and the blocking scheme up front. That's about as detailed as I can get for you."
 
On whether he feels confident in the right side of the offensive line: "I do. I feel good about that."
 
On whether he expects veteran Jamaal Jackson to return to the starting center position: "I'm going to go back and look at the tape before I make any decision. I thought (Jason) Kelce did a nice job for the time when he was in there, and Jamaal (Jackson) did a nice job when he was in there. Actually, (Mike) McGlynn also got some snaps in there and I thought he did a nice job from what I could see. Let me take a peek at the tape, and I'll have a better idea."
 
On the play of T King Dunlap: "I thought he did a decent job. There was a little bit of confusion between him and the right guard on one of the protections, but it looked like they were trying to communicate it, and it didn't quite work out the way it was supposed to. That was one of many protections, and I thought they did a pretty good job with the others."
 
On the play of MLB Casey Matthews: "It looked like he made some plays. Those inside linebackers, you have to look at the tape, so I'll go back and do that. It looked like he did a good job of getting everyone lined up. He's a pretty smart kid. The important thing with these young guys (C Jason) Kelce, and him (MLB Casey Matthews) and (LB Brian) Rolle is that we give them time to grow each week as they get better."
 
On the play of LB Brian Rolle: "He's a good little player. We like him. He's a smart kid, and he's got great speed, quickness, and awareness. He's a good football player, so we thought we would give him a shot in there. It's hard to see when they're inside, but I thought he did a decent job."
 
On why CB Brandon Hughes saw more playing time in the game than Joselio Hanson:  "We were trying to get a look. We're in this evaluation process. I know what Joselio can do. Joselio is a good football player. He's played for me for a number of years. He's a little bit like (C) Jamaal (Jackson). I know what Jamaal can do. I have to see what else I have got, and make sure that we give them enough reps to show. In the secondary, that is a hard thing. You need quite a few reps to get a decent feel for it. It's not like with the offensive line where you can evaluate on every snap. In the secondary, in particular at the corner spot, you need more reps to make an evaluation."
 
On the return of DT Mike Patterson: "I was happy for him. He was excited to get back out there. He's gone through a lot. He played about 13 snaps, and that's about where we wanted it. He looked like he could have kept going. He felt good, but I just didn't want to give him too much, too soon. I wanted him to get back in the swing of things. We have a couple of more weeks before we start. He came out feeling good. The main thing was that I was happy for him that he was able to get back out there."
 
On the lack of deep passing in the preseason between QB Michael Vick and WR DeSean Jackson: "I'm not too concerned about that. (Jokingly) We might not do that this year very much."
 
On the play of QB Michael Vick:  "They were playing a lot of man coverage, so we were about to use some of our crossing routes which we needed work on. We haven't done that much in the preseason, so we were able to work on that. I thought he was effective with the ball placement, and giving the running back or receiver the opportunity to run (after the catch), and I thought he did well with that."
 
On his attempt to have a Cleveland touchdown reception reviewed which led to a 15-yard penalty and the play not being reviewed: "I blew that one. The tough thing is that the referee has a little buzzer on him. The kicker is getting ready to kick the (extra point) and you're hoping that the referee knows the rule (that all scoring plays are automatically reviewed). I shouldn't have thrown (the challenge flag), but when you see someone step out of bounds, you expect the review to happen right now. You're sitting there waiting, and waiting. It's a new rule, and we're learning with it, so I should have just held onto the flag."
 
On how much of the confusion of the offensive line can be attributed to the play of rookies Danny Watkins and Jason Kelce: "I didn't think there was a lot of confusion on the offensive line. I can name two plays. One was with the right side, and one was just with the quarterback's alignment. Other than that, I thought they did a pretty good job."
 
On the play of SS Jarrad Page: "I didn't see anything that jumped out to me that he didn't do well or that I thought was a critical error. He got turned around on one play, but he ended up making the play on the tight end. I didn't see anything that jumps out at me that was a negative."

On the play of DT Derek Landri and whether he has shown enough to make the team: "He's a good football player. That's stiff competition inside there. But we know that he can play in this league because he started 16 games for Carolina. We'll just have to see. He sure is battling and making plays. He's relentless."
 
On where DT Trevor Laws stands in terms of making the team after suffering a hip injury: "That injury is a 3-5 week deal. He came back and practiced, and he can still feel it. He worked out again today. It wasn't that he didn't want to get out there. He's sitting right at about three weeks. I think he's close."

On whether Laws has shown enough in past seasons to warrant a roster spot: "There's competition out there. He's in the mix for the competition, and we'll have to evaluate that. We don't have to do that today. We will continue to evaluate."

On the possibility of the Eagles bringing in free agent LB Lofa Tatupu for a workout: "I'm not there. We look at all of the guys, but haven't had contact with him."
 
On whether he was nervous about the return to play of DT Mike Patterson: "I wasn't nervous. I was happy for him that he's got an opportunity to get back out there. Remember that he's been out 18-20 days, so I wanted to ease him back in. I wasn't as worried about the seizure part of it. He's had good advice from the experts."
