The Philadelphia Eagles fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 6-0, to end the regular-season.

At the end of the first quarter, neither team was able to put points on the scoreboard as the Eagles and Cowboys are tied 0-0.

On the opening drive, the offense went for it on fourth-and-7 at the Dallas 39 but quarterback Nick Foles' pass attempt to wide receiver Torrey Smith fell incomplete. The Eagles' defense responded with a fourth-down stop of its own, shutting down Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott for a 2-yard loss on fourth-and-1.

With under five minutes remaining, Foles had his pass intended for wide receiver Alshon Jeffery intercepted by cornerback Chidobe Awuzie at the Dallas 48 yard-line.

The Cowboys will take over at their own 48 to start the second quarter.

Cornerback Sidney Jones made his NFL debut for the Eagles playing on punt coverage and defense.
