Eagles Trade RB Bryce Brown To Bills

Posted May 10, 2014

The Eagles have been very active during this weekend's draft, trading up for Jordan Matthews and trading down to acquire more picks. On Saturday, the Eagles made another trade, this time involving a member of the roster, sending running back Bryce Brown to the Buffalo Bills.

In exchange for Brown, the Eagles acquired either: a fourth-round pick in 2015 or a third-round pick in 2016 or a fourth-round pick in 2016. The teams also exchanged seventh-round picks in this year's draft. The Eagles will now select with the 224th overall pick in the seventh round.

A seventh-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, Brown ran for 878 yards and six touchdowns in two seasons with the Eagles. He broke the Eagles' single-game rookie rushing record with 178 yards against Carolina in his first NFL start in 2012. The following week, Brown racked up 169 rushing yards against the Dallas Cowboys.
