The Eagles made some tweaks to their practice squad on Monday signing guard
A fifth-round pick of the Eagles in 2011, Vandervelde is making his second appearance on the team's practice squad this season. After playing in one game as a rookie, Vandervelde was originally released by the team at the 53-man roster cutdown back in August. He was re-signed to the practice squad on October 2 after spending time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Vandervelde was promoted to the 53-man active roster on November 7, but released to make room for guard
The 6-2, 238-pound Stupar was a seventh-round draft pick this year of the Oakland Raiders. He was released during the final roster cutdown and signed to their practice squad. However, Oakland released Stupar from their practice squad on September 12. A native of State College, Pa., the former Penn State linebacker played in all 52 career games from 2008-11. As a senior, he started in the last nine games and ranked third on the team with 80 tackles. He also had 5.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks.
