DE Everette Brown The former second-round pick by Carolina at times flashed his pass rushing ability of what could have been. Led Eagles with 4.0 sacks in preseason, which tied for second in the NFL.
DT Antonio Dixon After suffering a hamstring injury early in Training Camp, Dixon was not able to garner much playing time behind a young and impressive group of defensive linemen.
QB Dennis Dixon Former disciple of Chip Kelly at Oregon who was slightly familiar with the offensive system. Was a victim of depth in front of him at the quarterback position.
TE/WR Clay Harbor Athletic tight end who did everything for the Eagles from learning linebacker in OTAs to adding wide receiver duties during Training Camp. Release highlights depth at tight end position with additions of James Casey and Zach Ertz.
DE David King The Eagles’ final selection of the 2013 NFL Draft, King played defensive end at the University of Oklahoma. He recorded seven total tackles and two tackles for loss during the preseason.
QB G.J. Kinne Did everything that the coaches asked of him in practice, which included playing special teams. Tulsa product completed both of his passes during the time that he saw this preseason.
T Matt Kopa Kopa, a Stanford graduate, entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2010. The 6-foot-6 offensive tackle was signed by the Eagles off of the New England Patriots practice squad on December 3, 2012.
DE Joe Kruger Rookie seventh-round pick was placed on Injured Reserve with a shoulder injury that he suffered during Thursday night's preseason finale.
CB Trevard Lindley (Waived with injury settlement). With the injuries at the cornerback position, Lindley had an opportunity to earn a spot on the team in the final preseason game, but a right ankle sprain derailed his future with the Eagles.
OLB Travis Long Athletic edge rusher who signed with the Eagles in Training Camp after injury to Jason Phillips. Fought back after suffering ACL injury in November. Had four tackles, a sack and a forced fumble for the Eagles in the preseason.
OLB Chris McCoy One of the biggest surprises of Training Camp. Suffered an ACL injury last year in Canada and missed almost all of OTAs recovering, but came on strong with 3.5 sacks in preseason. Tough call for the coaching staff.
WR Ifeanyi Momah Size (6-foot-7) had fans excited about the possibilities for the first-year wide receiver. Unfortunately, Momah was not able to show much on the field to separate himself from the rest of the receivers.
WR Will Murphy A former Oregon walk-on who was signed by the Eagles in May 2013. The wide receiver finished the preseason with three catches for 26 yards.
OL Dallas Reynolds Reynolds had bounced between the practice squad and active roster since signing with the Eagles as an undrafted rookie out of BYU in 2009. He started the last 14 games of the 2012 season at center after Jason Kelce tore his ACL against the Baltimore Ravens.
LB Adrian Robinson The Temple product and outside linebacker was acquired by the Eagles via trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers for running back Felix Jones on August 23. Robinson played against the Jets and recorded one tackle.
WR Greg Salas Made strong push for roster spot with seven catches for 107 yards and a touchdown in the preseason. Also made an acrobatic one-handed catch in preseason opener. Was one of the standout players early in Training Camp.
WR Russell Shepard Rookie free agent who had three catches for 42 yards in the preseason while also flashing on special teams. Showed some quickness in Training Camp and opened eyes early. Was an all-purpose threat at LSU.
S David Sims Acquired a year ago during final roster cutdown in a trade with the Cleveland Browns. Contributed on special teams and even made his first career start on defense. Not able to push through logjam after additions of Patrick Chung and Earl Wolff.
G Matt Tennant A fifth-round draft choice of the New Orleans Saints in 2010 from Boston College, Tennant was signed by the Eagles on October 23, 2012 after being released by the New England Patriots. Though originally a center, he played offensive guard with the Eagles.
RB Matthew Tucker Started Training Camp with failing initial conditioning test, but bounced back and scored two touchdowns in preseason finale. Tough sledding behind one of the deepest running back corps in the entire league.
G Danny Watkins Chip Kelly stressed versatility throughout Training Camp and Watkins was caught in tough spot only playing guard. Made strides playing in run-heavy scheme with more traditional pass sets, but Allen Barbre and Matt Tobin can play both tackle and guard.
