Dec. 22 Game Vs. Bears Flexed To Sunday Night

The Eagles' Week 16 game against the Chicago Bears, the final regular season game of 2013 at Lincoln Financial Field, has been moved from a 1 PM EST kickoff to 8:30 PM EST and will be televised nationally on NBC's Sunday Night Football. The NFL officially announced the decision to flex the Eagles game on Tuesday.

At 8-5, the Eagles stand atop the NFC East with a one-game lead on the Dallas Cowboys. The Bears are currently tied atop the NFC North with the Detroit Lions at 7-6 after they defeated the Cowboys on Monday Night Football. Riding a five-game winning streak, the Eagles are currently the hottest team in football, while the Bears rank second in the league in points scored.

The Eagles are 1-1 in primetime this season after they dispatched of the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football in Week 1 and lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football in Week 3. The Bears game, on December 22, will mark the second primetime home game of the season.

HeadHouse Plaza and clubs and suites will open at 5:30 PM, while the stadium gates will open at 6:30 PM.

The New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens were originally scheduled to play on Sunday Night Football in Week 16.
