DE Parker Limited; Hopeful For Sunday

Posted Nov 9, 2011

Defensive end Juqua Parker is "really itching" to get back on the field after missing Monday night's tilt with the Bears. He was limited in Wednesday's practice with the high-ankle sprain that he initially suffered back in Week 2.

"It's kind of frustrating to deal with these injuries, but everybody goes through them," said Parker, who also suffered a high-ankle sprain earlier in 2004 with Tennessee. "Hopefully, it's getting right. It felt good out there today, so hopefully I'll be back out there pretty soon."

Safety Nate Allen (concussion) and guard Evan Mathis (toe) were the only Eagles to not participate in Wednesday's practice. Allen was replaced by rookie Jaiquawn Jarrett after being injured on Monday and recorded five tackles. If Jarrett has to start Sunday against Arizona, it will be his first career start. Meanwhile, King Dunlap is preparing to start at left guard if Mathis can't play. It would be an intriguing matchup with the 6-9 Dunlap going against Arizona's Calais Campbell, a 3-4 defensive end who stands at 6-8.

Defensive end Brandon Graham said he felt no pain in his knee following his first game since an ACL injury late in 2010. He was a full participant in practice as was offensive tackle Winston Justice (knee), center Jason Kelce (quadricep) and running back LeSean McCoy (shoulder).
