DE Brandon Bair Completes Prac. Squad

Posted Sep 4, 2013

Defensive end Brandon Bair

The Eagles have filled the last vacant spot on the eight-man practice squad with the addition of 6-foot-6, 285-pound second-year defensive end Brandon Bair. Undrafted out of Oregon in 2011, Bair originally signed with the Kansas City Chiefs before joining the Oakland Raiders during the 2012 offseason. He spent time on the Raiders practice squad last season and was released as part of the team's final cutdown last weekend.

A former tight end at Oregon, Bair worked closely with defensive line coach Jerry Azzinaro, who helped Bair develop into a second-team all-Pac 12 performer in 2010, when Bair posted 3.0 sacks and 16 tackles for loss.

On the practice squad, Bair joins seven other players: running back Matthew Tucker, offensive lineman Isaac Remington, wide receiver Greg Salas, tackle Michael Bamiro, linebacker Travis Long, safety Trenton Robinson and safety Keelan Johnson.
