This summer during Philadelphia Eagles Training Camp presented by Sports Authority, the team’s Twitter account (@eagles) is giving fans a chance to interview their favorite players with the return of the weekly #AskAnEagle. This week’s Twitter Takeover features a 2013 offseason acquisition, LB
A Lone Star: LB Connor Barwin joined the Eagles after four solid seasons with the Houston Texans, who drafted Barwin in 2009 as a defensive end before transitioning him to linebacker in 2010. While in Houston, Barwin made franchise history with highlights that included a single-game record of 4 sacks (at Jacksonville in 2011), a career-high 11.5 sacks in 2011 (second Texan ever to record double-digit sacks in a single season) and contributing to the franchise’s first-ever playoff win, one of Barwin’s favorite personal sports moments.
