QB Mike McMahon: Came back strong following last Monday's rough outing. He got into a rhythm early and threw down the field
with some success. All told, he completed 14 of 32 passes for 190 yards. He was sacked six times and coughed up a critical fumble in overtime that set up the game-winning points.
RB Ryan Moats: It was a special game for this rookie as he netted his first two NFL touchdowns and his first career 100-yard rushing effort. Moats showed incredible speed.
WR Reggie Brown : Another impressive outing for this rookie. Brown led all receivers with 72 yards on five receptions. He also showed incredible concentration on one pass, fighting for and winning on an underthrown ball that slipped through a defender's hands.
WR Billy McMullen: Had two catches on the day, including a lunging 12-yard catch on a late fourth-quarter drive that ended with a game-tying FG.
RB/PR Reno Mahe: With Brian Westbrook sidelined, Mahe contributed in both the run game, the pass game and as a punt returner. He finished with 89 yards on 11 touches.
WR Greg Lewis: Caught just one pass -- in overtime. He failed to haul in a number of others.
The offensive line: The left side, in particular, had success in the run game. But the guys up front couldn't keep New York's defenders away from McMahon, especially in overtime.
FB Josh Parry: Led the way for a ground attack that averaged 7 yards a carry (175 total). He threw a nice downfield block on Moats' first score.
CB Sheldon Brown : Lined up in the slot on some nickel packages. His interception with under four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter set up the offense for its game-tying drive. He dropped another potential interception.
SS Michael Lewis: Led the defense with 12 tackles and gave the offense a chance to win the game in regulation with an interception with under a minute left in the game.
CB Donald Strickland: Saw his first action as an Eagle. Lined up on the outside and chipped in seven tackles.
DT Mike Patterson : Started the contest and played well against the run. Finished the game with 6 tackles.
FS Brian Dawkins: Tallied the only sack of Eli Manning. Had an interception in overtime, but missed on another earlier in the game.
K David Akers : Connected on three of four field goals, including a 50-yarder to tie the game late in the fourth quarter. His one miss -- a 42-yarder -- dinged off the crossbar.

RB Ryan Moats: Provided a spark for the offense with 114 rushing yards on just 11 carries. His first career touchdown went for 40 yards. Moats ran showed good quickness and the ability to explode through an opening.
The rest of the rookies: Mike Patterson, Reggie Brown and Todd Herremans continued to make progress.
The team and the coaching staff: While there's no such thing as a moral victory, the Eagles showed tremendous heart in bouncing back off a short week.

There was no shortage of thrills and spills in this game, but the Eagles unfortunately came up on the short end.

"Playing against our division, for us not to have a win right now, it's a little bit heartbreaking."
-- SS Michael Lewis
"It feels good to have success. But I'd rather have the big picture [winning] than the small picture [personal performance]. It's not about me and what I do."
-- RB Ryan Moats
"Three points isn't going to beat a team like this."
-- QB Mike McMahon
