Having those 11 draft picks limited the Eagles in their post-draft signing activity a bit, but the team still hopes to uncover a few diamonds with its class of 10 rookie free agents that was announced on Monday.

The team also added a punter, Mark Mariscal, bringing to 11 the new players joining the Eagles.

Here is a look at the players the Eagles signed following the 2005 NFL draft.

P Mark Mariscal
  • P Mark Mariscal: Mariscal (6-2, 200) was the 2002 recipient of the Ray Guy Award, given annually to the nation's top collegiate punter. He spent the 2003 and '04 training camps with the New Orleans Saints and was also a member of the New York Jets practice squad in 2003. A native of Tallahassee, Fl, Mariscal punted 105 times for a 46.4 average at Colorado.

  • WR Grant Adams, Boston College:
    The leading receiver for Boston College in both 2003 and 2004, he closed out his career with a catch in 29 straight games. As a senior, had 47 receptions for 692 yds. and 2 TDs. Led the Eagles as a junior with 46 catches for 720 yds. and 5 TDs.

    Overall, he hauled in 132 passes for 1,983 yds. and 13 TDs.

    As a WR/DB, helped Glen Rock (NJ) HS to three state football championships (1996, 98-99). Excelled in the classroom as an honor student and participated in basketball and baseball. Born 5/8/82.

  • WR Jared Jones, Syracuse:
    A four-year letterman who moved from QB to WR as a redshirt freshman.

    Was 43-621-3TDs receiving as a senior and finished his career with 102 receptions for 1,189 yds. and 5 TDs. Also served as the holder on FGs and PATs for four seasons.

    Attended Hillsborough (NJ) HS. Born 5/22/82.

  • LB Martin Patterson, Texas Christian:
    Played both inside and outside linebacker in 46 games (35 starts) during his four-year career at Texas Christian.

    During his career, totaled 289 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 39 tackles for loss, 4 forced fumbles, 1 FR and 1 INT. Led the Horned Frogs in tackles as a junior (103) and senior (131).

    Was an all-state selection while at DeSoto (TX) HS. Born 2/18/83.

  • WR Jason Peebler, Massachusetts:
    Finished his career as one of the top receivers in UMass history. His 2,395 yds. and 27 TDs rank 2nd all-time and his 123 receptions are 3rd in the record books.

    Was the Minutemen's leading receiver as a senior (48-976-10TDs) and junior (50-1,003-13TDs). Peebler was a two-year starter at WR but also saw action as a running back (27-141-2TDs) and kick returner (33-622-0TDs).

    As a senior at Modesto (CA) Central Catholic HS, he averaged 34.8-yds. per reception (13-453-7TDs) and 11.6-yds. per rush (125-1,458-20TDs). Born 3/19/83.

    WR Chauncey Stovall
  • TE Stephen Spach, Fresno State:
    A former walk-on for Fresno State, he will go down in school lore. Best known for his blocking, the seldom used receiver capped a dramatic come-from-behind victory over 18th-ranked Virginia in the MPC Computers Bowl with a 25-yard TD catch, bowling over a defender at the goal line.

    He played in 39 games and was a three-year starter, notching 38 receptions for 376 yds. and 6 TDs. Earned Academic All-WAC four times.

    Is the 8th of 11 children (6 brothers, 4 sisters). Attended Clovis (CA) HS where he played football and basketball. Born 7/18/82.

  • WR Chauncey Stovall, Florida State:
    A junior college transfer, Stovall went on to lead Florida State in receiving as a senior with 53 catches for 780 yds. and 6 TDs.

    Led Hinds (MS) CC to the state JUCO championship as a freshman in 2000 and posted 107 receptions for 1,735 yds. and 16 TDs during his two seasons there (Eagles DE Jerome McDougle also spent one season at Hinds in 1999).

    Was a redshirt transfer at FSU in 2002 and finished his Seminole career with 72 catches for 1,120 yds. and 8 TDs in 25 games.

    Scored 64 TDs and accounted for more than 4,800 yds. at Vero Beach (FL) HS. Born 8/22/81.

  • TE Andy Thorn, Northern Iowa:
    Transferred from Iowa to Northern Iowa in his junior year and amassed 38 receptions for 498 yards and 10 TDs in two seasons for the Panthers, earning All-Gateway honors in both of those seasons.

    Played mostly on special teams in his sophomore year at Iowa and was red-shirted his freshman year.

    Played both tight end and defensive end at Mott HS in Waterford, MI. As a senior, caught 25 passes for 450 yards and 6 TDs, earning all-county and 2nd team all-metro honors by the Detroit Free Press while helping lead the team to the state playoffs for the first time in school history. Born 2/4/82 in Joplin, MO.

  • FS Jeremy Thornburg, Northern Arizona:
    Led Northern Arizona in tackles and solo tackles in both his senior and junior years.

    Received Big Sky honorable mention as a junior when he finished with 4 INTs. Earned all-conference honors in his senior year for the long jump and qualified for the regional championships in both his senior and junior years.

    Played football at Cathedral City HS (San Diego, CA), where he was a three-time first-team all-conference honoree, receiving the Desert Valley League defensive MVP award in his senior year.

    Also played basketball and track and was recognized for his excellence in the Golden State Exams for advanced algebra in his senior year. Born 5/7/82 in San Diego, CA.

  • WR Isaac West, Furman:
    Finished his career at Furman as the school's all-time leader in receptions (140) and receiving yards (2,300), and also ranked 4th with 16 career TDs.

    Had an outstanding senior year, in which he set single-season marks for receptions (60) and receiving yards (1,006), along with 6 TD grabs on his way to leading the team to the Southern Conference Championship and a berth into the NCAA I-AA playoffs. Earned All-Conference honors as a wide receiver that year and also returned kicks -- 13-97 on punt returns and 12-237 on KOR.

    Played football at Butler HS in Augusta, GA, earning first-team All-State AAAA honors in his senior year while playing eight different positions (QB, RB, WR, DB, P, K, PR, KR). In addition, he was on the baseball, wrestling, tennis and track teams. Born 4/5/82 in Hampton, VA. Full name is Isaac West III.

  • CB Aric Williams, Oregon State:
    In his career at Oregon State he recorded 124 tackles (92 solos) with 2 FRs, 30 pass deflections and 9 INTS, earning All-Pac 10 honorable mention in his senior and junior years. Also returned kicks (26-193 on punts and 10-156 on KOR).

    In his final two seasons, he led Diamond Bar HS to two CIF Division II titles and a 27-1 record, earning All-Sierra League MVP in his senior year. Also started two years as a guard on the basketball team and was a three-year letterman in track as a sprinter.

    Born 3/21/82 in Los Angeles, CA. Is the cousin of New York Giants safety Shaun Williams.
