OT Peters Out With Ankle Injury

November 15, 2009 | Last Updated: 11/15/09 3:09 PM ET | Comments (3)

Left tackle Jason Peters is out for Sunday's game against the Chargers with an ankle injury. Left guard Todd Herremans will slide out and start at left tackle. Nick Cole will start at left guard and Stacy Andrews will start at right guard.

Safety Quntin Demps is also inactive due to an ankle injury. Demps was slated to be the primary kickoff returner. Macho Harris and Jeremy Maclin took the practice reps this week at kickoff returner. Remember, Ellis Hobbs, the previous primary kickoff returner, was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury earlier this week. Ramzee Robinson was signed to the roster to take Hobbs' place on the roster and is active for today's game.

Akeem Jordan (knee) and Kevin Curtis (knee) were declared out prior to the team leaving for San Diego. Also inactive for the Eagles are running back P.J. Hill, guard Mike McGlynn, cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu and quarterback Kevin Kolb (3rd QB).

UPDATE: Inactive for the Chargers are QB Charlie Whitehurst (3rd QB), CB Dante Hughes, ILB Tim Dobbins, C Nick Hardwick, G Tyronne Green, WR Buster Davis, DE/DT Vaughn Martin and OLB Jyles Tucker. The only lineup change for the Chargers is that Brandon Siler will start at inside linebacker in place of Kevin Burnett.

Let go of P.J. Hill, he will never see action on the football field.. no offense hes a great athlete but he may get a touch every 4 games or so. We should go out and sign an OT.. Runyan may not be a bad sign up.
