We all knew this would happen. He hasn't played a whole season in how long? Sure he ran the ball in, but he could have thrown it in much earlier in the series with a wide open receiver in the end zone. We picked up two very good RB in the offseason. Let them run. This is DMac's 10th year and he hasn't learned that games can end in a tie, a backwards lateral counts as a fumble, or even running backs are supposed to run the ball. Get healthy soon..

im very glad that mcnabb sacraficed himself for that touch down but they need to get mike vick ready and up to speed as soon as he is able to be practicing again we need him!!

I hope that last nights game was an indication of what the season is going to be like...
Oh and scott_m, you obviously aren't an Eagles fan even when they do win because true fans know once an Eagles fan always an Eagles fan win or lose... you should find a team who likes fans who jump the bandwagon!

good game, went alot better then i expected. i glad to hear that McNabb's injury might not keep him out more then a week or 2. lets remember people, he has played before with broken ribs, broken ankle. i dont expect this to be major but i do hope for the best and look forward to seeing him on the field again. GO EAGLES!!!

Great game and above all the news McNabb did a great job today not only that thanks to a great defensive effort from the team i look at 5 interceptions 5 sacks first game blow out. To worry about about just the injury is almost like trying to rain on the thing that matters the win.Its just as roc-g says he will be fine and when he comes back to be 100% is all philly can ask of him.Through all the crap hes taken it doesnt take away that he is a great quaterback and when hes not there then to hope that the defense and who ever is next either kolb or vick doesnt matter green best! Eagles 1#

I agree with all the true Eagle fans that those who just wanna stir up trouble find your own team site and post your garbage there. McNabb has taken a lot of crap his entire career and bounced back every time. That was a cheap shot today. Hopefully he can come back soon, because Kolb looked overmatched today, when it seemed we had everything rolling.

Hey, The Birds Looked Terrifc today, Mcnabb will be fine, I do not see him missing much time if he even does miss time because he's a competitor, yeah they have the saints this week but you all know Andy will have them ready for the task at hand as he has done since becoming the Head Coach, the eagles will be fine this year, saints and then KC and then a bye, like I saw someone say it before it could be ALOT worse

Scott M those comments of yours lets us know how in significant you really are. As for the rest us true die hard EAGLE fans it's kind of scary thinking about what next week may bring if McNabb is out. Rib injuries are tough on Quarterbacks. He was unable to return to the game so it isn't looking to good right now. Lets hope he is only out for a game or two. We really need him to be 100%.

C'mon peaple (Scott/harvey) Your pathetic, why do you log on to the EAGLES site to run this trash. Its a whole lot of hassle just to get on peaples nerves.
Vick is the 3rd string, even if he was eligable, Kolb will take the snaps when Mcnabb is out.
They throw flags so quick if the QB is in the pocket, but Mcnabb on the ground in the endzone, already ruled a touchdown, and gets a late hit to the back. no flag, no fine, no acknolagment. They need to pay more attention to the late hits, standing in the endzone, and a defender trying to jar the ball loose fine.

exited Sunday's game against the Panthers after suffering a rib injury with 6:59 remaining in the third quarter. McNabb scored a touchdown on a 3-yard scramble where he was hit by cornerback Richard Marshall at the goal line and piled on by another Panthers player. After spending several minutes down on the field being attended to by trainers, McNabb walked off the field under his own power. During the next Panthers drive, McNabb was treated by team doctors on the sideline before he walked into the locker room for further evaluation. McNabb's touchdown put the Eagles ahead 38-10. McNabb was 10-of-18 for 79 yards with two touchdowns and an interception when he left, not including the touchdown run. Kevin Kolb came in at quarterback on the Eagles' next drive.
