Terrell Owens chats with the media Saturday.
The line began at 5 p.m. Thursday. Armed with an 80-quart cooler Bob Mills, his daughter Jennifer, and her boyfriend Frankie Rodriguez made the trek from New Castle, Del. to be first in line to see Terrell Owens in his first public appearance at the End Zone outlet store at the Rockvale Square Outlets in Lancaster, PA.

Mind you, Owens was not making his appearance until Saturday, but Eagles fans have gone bonkers over Owens since the Eagles acquired the Pro Bowl receiver in the offseason.

"He's an excellent athlete," Bob said. "He gives Donovan (McNabb) someone to throw to."

While Jennifer simply says "he's sexy," Eagles fans have every reason to celebrate.

The 6-3, 226-pound receiver made his fourth straight Pro Bowl in 2003. Many believe that he is what will get the Eagles over the NFC Championship Game hump and into the Super Bowl.

"They'll be better with T.O.," said Rod Oliveros.

"I'm thinking Super Bowl," said John Travaline of Philadelphia.

Rob Shambaugh of Lancaster said he hopes the Eagles go to the Super Bowl, while his son, Chris, chimes in he hopes that they don't just go, that they win it.

The fans have showed their support. Since March, Owens' No. 81 is the No. 1 selling jersey in the NFL according to Eagles Director of Merchandising, Steve Strawbridge. Two hundred fans received tickets Saturday at the grand opening of the End Zone outlet store to receive Owens' autograph.

Fans came from as far as Virginia to get their first glimpse of Owens. Some people were in line as early as 6 a.m. Saturday and still did not receive a ticket to get Owens' signature.

Owens said Saturday that he is "blessed" to have the top-selling jersey since March.

"I'm just fortunate to be here with the Eagles," he said. "It's a testament to the fans."

Owens knows how hard he will have to work in Philadelphia to remain one of the elite receivers in the league. He will head out to Arizona next week to work with McNabb. For Owens, this season is for him like a special holiday.

"It's sort of like Christmas," Owens said.

And a Super Bowl title would be the best present any Eagles fan could receive.
