Head coach Andy Reid addressed his family's recent situation during his Friday press conference, saying that regardless of the outside distractions, the focus of his team is on the Dallas Cowboys.

The comments were made one day after Reid's two sons, Garrett age 24, and Britt age 22, were sentenced in Montgomery County court for separate incidents that occurred in January of this year.

"I know this is a big story for everybody and I respect that, on the other hand, I can't go into questioning about it at this time," Reid said during his opening remarks. "As parents we have a huge concern for our boys and this is been a battle that we have dealt with here for a few years."

Reid spent Thursday in court with his sons and was not at the Eagles' practice, nor in any team meetings. After the practice, many Eagles players said that his absence had not been a distraction.

Reid said that he appreciates the support from the fans and the organization
Reid was able to watch the film from the workout and said that the rest of the coaching staff and the veteran players on the team kept it focused on Sunday night's game.

"I'm very proud of the team with how they practiced yesterday without me being there," he said. "(It) shows the great leadership we have on the coaching staff and with the players that they took the ball and ran with it and really had a nice practice."

Reid did field a number of questions Friday regarding his team's response to the off-field incidents, and reiterated that he felt its focus was on the Cowboys. The short press conference was punctuated with long periods of silence after each of Reid's answers.

"The biggest part right now for the group is the Dallas Cowboys," Reid said. "In their (players)  minds that's the number one thing and it will continue to be that as we go forward. Like I said, they have done a heck of a job with it."

When asked whether he would remain coach of the Eagles, Reid responded with a simple, "yes." He also said that he appreciated the support he had received from the community and from his players.

"They have been tremendous," Reid said. "They've been great."

Linebacker Takeo Spikes said that it is important for the players to stand behind Reid during his difficult times.

"Andy knows that we as players, we have his back," Spikes said. "During these times you need support from the people around you and I think that's very important. It's a very unfortunate thing, but at the same time, that's something that Andy has to deal with."

The other Eagles that were in the locker room following Friday's practice echoed Reid's and Spikes' sentiments, saying that the focus in the locker room was on Dallas.

"We've just got to play ball," guard Shawn Andrews said. "Win, win, win. Keep it moving."

INJURY UPDATE: RUNYAN, KEARSE PROBABLE; GLENN OUT FOR DALLAS

For the third day in a row, neither defensive end Jevon Kearse nor right tackle Jon Runyan participated in practice on Friday. Runyan is still battling a tailbone injury that has prevented him from practicing in each of the last two weeks.

He was able to play against both Chicago and Minnesota and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against Dallas, as is Kearse.

Wide receiver Jason Avant is listed as questionable with a groin strain that he suffered during practice this week.

"Jason Avant has a groin strain that he's working through. We think he'll be able to go, but we'll just see how he does here in the next couple days," Reid said.

The Cowboys are once again going to be without the services of wide receiver Terry Glenn, who has missed every game this season with a knee injury. Dallas could, however, get back cornerback Anthony Henry who has missed the last three games with a high ankle sprain. Henry is listed as questionable, but he did have limited participation in practice every day this week. Henry had four interceptions in the first three games of the season. He became only the second Cowboy in franchise history to have back-to-back games with multiple interceptions.
