Cormerback Lito Sheppard returned to practice on Saturday afternoon. He had been sidelined with an oblique strain for most of camp.

Seven Eagles, including Sheppard. were held out of Saturday morning's workout, while offensive tackle Jon Runyan and guard Scott Young returned to practice.

Runyan left Friday morning's practice with stiffness in his back and Young left the same practice with a sprained knee. While Runyan and Young came back, Shawn Andrews remained out with an ankle sprain and William Thomas left early with soreness in his knee.

The other Eagles that missed practice were free safety Brian Dawkins (Achilles), cornerback Dustin Fox (Achilles), linebacker Dedrick Roper (foot), wide receiver Bill Sampy (quad) and tight end L.J. Smith (groin). Dawkins and Sheppard ran wind sprints during the morning workout and completed passes to each other.
