Eagles Forest Takes Root At Neshaminy
Philadelphia, PA - May 2, 2008 – Philadelphia Eagles owner Christina Lurie, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Secretary Michael DiBerardinis, Eagles QB AJ Feeley and WR Reggie Brown today cut the ribbon on the Eagles Forest, a 6.5-acre site at Neshaminy State Park in Bensalem, Bucks County, which is the latest addition to the team's long-standing GO GREEN efforts.
This spring, volunteers and state park staff planted more than 1,500 trees and shrubs in the Eagles Forest, including approximately 60 trees that were purchased by Eagles fans, and today, 50 SCA volunteers planted an additional 25 trees in the forest. More..
