1. Turn off the faucet when you are brushing your teeth.

2. Bring your own reusable shopping bag to the store.

3. Take public transportation,walk or ride your bike to school.

4. Turn off the lights when you're the last one to leave the room.

5. Save money and trees: check out a book from the library instead of buying a new one.

6. Pack your lunch in a reusable container instead of paper and plastic bags.

7. Check your printer paper to make sure that it is 100% post-consumer recycled paper.

8. Talk to your parents about planting a tree in your backyard.
