On March 7, 2001, Eagles Owner Jeffrey Lurie cut through the thick green ribbon hanging down from one Eagle head to the other across the front of the entrance to the NovaCare Complex, officially marking the grand opening of the team's current front offices and practice facility. Designed and developed by the Keating Group, the NovaCare Complex provided the Eagles with the largest practice facility in the NFL at the time it was built.
Located on 22 acres of land just outside of Lincoln Financial Field, the 108,000 sq. ft facility includes a 3,500 sq.ft. training center with three hydrotherapy pools; an 8,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art weight room; media center; 200-seat auditorium; 4,000 sq.ft. kitchen and servery area; 3,300 sq.ft. dining facility; administrative and executive offices; three outdoor practice fields; and the technologically-advanced NovaCare Complex for Rehabilitation Excellence, which is open to the public.
