The Philadelphia Eagles Community Quarterback Award recognizes outstanding volunteers in the Eagles market and the charitable organizations that they serve. This program honors individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication, and a commitment to improving the communities in which they live through volunteerism. Applications for the 2015 Community Quarterback Awards are now being accepted on a rolling basis.
The Philadelphia Eagles will award $100,000 in grants to the nonprofit organizations served by the ten Community Quarterback finalists. The overall winner will receive $50,000 for their nonprofit organization while the two runners-up receive an additional $11,000 for their non-profit. Additionally the seven finalists will receive $4,000 for their nonprofit organization.
Residents within 75 miles of Philadelphia, age 18 and over, who provide volunteer services for nonprofit (501(c)(3) or 509) organizations are eligible for nomination. Nominees may only serve in a volunteer capacity and may not receive any compensation - monetary or otherwise - for their efforts.
