What We Do

Go Green

Our mission is to create and sustain championship performance on the field and in the community through programs that promote the quality of life in our region, green the environment to improve our impact on the planet, and enhance our profitability.

Recycling and Composting

Since 2003, the Eagles have recycled and composted more waste than 1,900 Americans create each year. • Eagles Go Green! recycling and composting programs have diverted more than 3,132,000 lbs. of waste from going into landfills.

Renewable Energy

100% of the Eagles operations are powered by the sun and wind. This means the Eagles’ electricity needs come from two non-polluting, renewable energy sources.

Energy Conservation

Energy conservation measures at Lincoln Financial Field have cut the stadium’s annual energy use nearly in half. The environmental benefit of this energy conservation is equivalent to removing 1,335 cars from the road for a year.

Recycled and Other Environmentally Friendly Products

All of the Eagles' paper applications and team publications are printed on post-consumer recycled paper or are available for download on a computer. Since 2003, these practices by the Philadelphia Eagles have saved almost 6,000 trees from destruction

Reforestation

In 2010, the Eagles’ travel to away games was carbon neutral. This means the team offsets 100% of the greenhouse gas generated by its travel through tree planting. These trees are being planted in Louisiana’s Lake Ophelia National Wildlife Refuge.
