David Akers
  • David Akers' Kicks for Kids

     

    This program, started by kicker Doug Pelfrey and continued by the Eagles own Pro Bowl kicker David Akers, was created to assist any child who is struggling in the pursuit of his or her dreams. Thus, there are no disease or illness restrictions, race, sex or religion specifications, or other such limitations.

    Jevon Kearse

  • Jevon Kearse Foundation The Jevon Kearse Foundation is committed to giving young people hope and joy. His foundation generates proceeds to put back into the community, giving youth who are considered economically and socially disadvantaged, the opportunity to gain experiences they may not have.

     

  • Boys and Girls Club
    The Boys and Girls Club hosts Kearse's annual celebrity charity weekend in his hometown of Ft. Myers, FL during the offseason, where he was inducted into the Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame.


    Donovan McNabb
  • Donovan McNabb Foundation
  • The Donovan McNabb Foundation raises awareness of Diabetes through Donovan's position as the spokesman for the American Diabetes Association. Has also donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to his high school and college alma maters.

    Runyan serves along with his wife and the Akers family as the honorary chairpeople for the Cystic Fibrosis Evening with the Eagles.

    The Good Sheppard Foundation's mission is to help guide children who are considered disadvantaged and at-risk into gaining a "can do" attitude about education and the opportunities that getting an education create.

    William Thomas

  • William Thomas Scholarship

    Thomas organized an annual scholarship fund at his alma mater, Deland HS (FL), which benefits deserving, minority students. There are five, $5,000 scholarships given annually. He also participates in a book club and toy drive at Deland.

    Brian Westbrook

  • Variety Club
  • Police Athletic League

    In 2003, Brian organized "The Westbrook Bowl," a celebrity bowling tournament that benefits the Variety Club of Philadelphia.

    In June of 2004, Brian Westbrook teamed with the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia to host the "Celebrity Streetball Charity Tournament." Westbrook and a number of his celebrity friends, including teammates Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens and Freddie Mitchell, were in attendance to work the tournament and sign autographs for fans. All proceeds from the event benefit PAL.
