His foundation generates proceeds to put back into the community, giving youth who are considered economically and socially disadvantaged, the opportunity to gain experiences they may not have.
The Boys and Girls Club hosts Kearse's annual celebrity charity weekend in his hometown of Ft. Myers, FL during the offseason, where he was inducted into the Boys and Girls Club Hall of Fame. Donovan McNabb ![]() The Donovan McNabb Foundation raises awareness of Diabetes through Donovan's position as the spokesman for the American Diabetes Association. Runyan serves along with his wife and the Akers family as the honorary chairpeople for the Cystic Fibrosis Evening with the Eagles. Lito Sheppard Good Sheppard Foundation The Good Sheppard Foundation's mission is to help guide children who are considered disadvantaged and at-risk into gaining a "can do" attitude about education and the opportunities that getting an education create.

Thomas organized an annual scholarship fund at his alma mater, Deland HS (FL), which benefits deserving, minority students. There are five, $5,000 scholarships given annually. He also participates in a book club and toy drive at Deland. In 2003, Brian organized "The Westbrook Bowl," a celebrity bowling tournament that benefits the Variety Club of Philadelphia. In June of 2004, Brian Westbrook teamed with the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia to host the "Celebrity Streetball Charity Tournament." Westbrook and a number of his celebrity friends, including teammates Donovan McNabb, Terrell Owens and Freddie Mitchell, were in attendance to work the tournament and sign autographs for fans.
