November 11 symbolizes the anniversary of the end of World War I, which formally ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918. Almost 90 years later, Eagles linebackers Omar Gaither and Stewart Bradley along with SWOOP and Eagles Cheerleaders paid a special visit to approximately 100 veterans at the Philadelphia VA Medial Center.

As part of their visit Gaither and Bradley spent time thanking veterans for serving our nation by signing autographs, presenting them with souvenirs, and helping brighten the day for those who have sacrificed so much for the cause of freedom.

""It's an opportunity for us to give back to the people who have given so much for this country"", said Bradley.

This visit was one of many Tuesday community visits Eagles' players make during the season. Tuesday serves as the traditional day off for most NFL players during the season, however many Eagles players will be using part of their day to go out and make a positive impact on our community.

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center provides health care for more than 370,000 veterans living in America's fifth largest metropolitan area and surrounding seven counties in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
