Community Quarterback Award

alt

The Philadelphia Eagles Community Quarterback Award recognizes outstanding volunteers in the Eagles market and the charitable organizations that they serve. This program honors individuals who exemplify leadership, dedication, and a commitment to improving the communities in which they live through volunteerism.

The Philadelphia Eagles will make a $1,000 donation to each nonprofit organization served by the ten Community Quarterback finalists. The overall winner receives an additional $4,000 for their nonprofit organization while the two runners-up receive an additional $1,500.

Residents within 75 miles of Philadelphia, age 18 and over, who provide volunteer services for nonprofit (501(c)(3) or 509) organizations are eligible for nomination. Nominees may only serve in a volunteer capacity and may not receive any compensation – monetary or otherwise – for their efforts.

If you would like to nominate someone for our Community Quarterback Award please fill out the 2008 nomination form. All nominations must be received by November 24, 2008.

The ten finalists will be honored by the Philadelphia Eagles for their efforts at a recognition event held on December 16, 2008.
