The Philadelphia Eagles support kids involvement in all youth sports, especially youth football. We encourage kids throughout the area to get off the couch and Play Football!

During the 2007 football season, the Philadelphia Eagles will honor high school football coaches through the Coach of the Week program, which aids in the development of youth football at the high school level. This program recognizes high school coaches who, through their hard work and dedication to young people, have made a difference in the lives of their players, communities and schools. At each Philadelphia Eagles home game, one high school football coach will be selected as the Coach of the Week winner. The winning coach will receive a 1,000 dollar donation from the Eagles to his high school athletic department.

September 17, 2007 - Eagles vs. Redskins

Mike Santillo of Kennedy-Kenrick High School was the first 2007 Eagles High School Coach of the Week. Coming off a winless 2006 season, Santillo has led his team to a 2-0 start with early wins over Bristol and Springfield Montco. In honor of Coach Santillo, the Philadelphia Eagles will donate $1000 to Kennedy-Kenrick High School's athletic program. Congratulations, Coach Mike Santillo!

Congratulations to Coach John Wagner of Saint Joseph's Prep, this week's Eagles High School Coach of the Week. Coach Wagner just got his 100^th win against Monsignor Bonner with a score of 27-0. He has also led his team to be the 2007 Catholic League Champions. In honor of Coach Wagner, the Philadelphia Eagles will donate $1000 to Saint Joseph's Prep's athletic program. Congratulations Coach John Wagner!

November 18, 2007 - Eagles vs. Dolphins

Congratulations Coach Ken Sturm from Overbrook High School. Two weeks ago Coach Sturm led his team to beat Dobbins, 20-19. The victory was the school's first preseason win its program's 80-year history. In honor of Coach Sturm, the Philadelphia Eagles will donate $1000 to Overbrook High School's athletic program. December 2, 2007 - Eagles vs. Seahawks

Congratulations to Coach Steve Devlin of Archbishop Wood High, this week's Eagles High School Coach of the Week. In his first season as coach of Wood, he led his team to a 41-17 win over Archbishop Carroll in the Catholic Blue semifinal and a berth in the championship game. December 11, 2007 - Eagles vs. Giants

Congratulations to Coach Rick Knox of Chestnut Hill Academy, this week's Eagles High School Coach of the Week. Coach Knox led his team to a 9-1 season making them the Inter-Ac League runners-up in only their second year back in the division after thirty five years. In honor of Coach Rick Knox, the Philadelphia Eagles will donate $1000 to Chestnut Hill Academy's athletic program. Congratulations Coach Rick Knox!
