Meet the Director

Barbara Zaun, Director of Cheerleading

Barbara is entering her 8th season as Director of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. Barbara has been instrumental in branding the Eagles Cheerleaders as an elite squad in the NFL. She has obtained high-profile opportunities for the squad including features in top publications such as Maxim, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Muscle and Fitness. She coordinated the squad's international promotional tours to London, Mexico City, Hong Kong and Tokyo and goodwill military tours to Iraq, Kuwait, Bosnia and Kosovo. Barbara is the art director and producer of the Eagles Cheerleaders Calendar which continues to be one of the most innovative and highly publicized calendars in sports. Under Barbara's direction, the Eagles Cheerleaders were the first in sports to produce an eco-friendly calendar and a lingerie calendar. Barbara was also involved in the creative process of outfitting the Eagles Cheerleaders in uniforms by designer Vera Wang.

Barbara was responsible for coordinating the Eagles Cheerleaders media appearances at major sporting events including Super Bowl XXIX, Hall of Fame game, and the Times Square NFL Kickoff. Barbara was a NFL cheerleader for the Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles. An accomplished dancer and public speaker, prior to becoming a NFL Cheerleader, she was a titleholder and keynote speaker within the Miss USA and Miss America Organizations and also awarded a prestigious Miss America Community Service Award. Barbara has a diverse background in both sports and entertainment formerly working in professional baseball and soccer as well as the modeling industry.

Suzy Zucker, Eagles Cheerleaders Choreographer

For the past seven years, Suzy has devoted her creative talents as Choreographer of the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. Some of the most notable choreography with the cheerleaders included the NFL Kickoff event in Times Square, Super Bowl XXXIX in Jacksonville and Hong Kong's Chinese New Year Celebration which was televised worldwide. Suzy's amazing talent and creative energy has provided many opportunities throughout her career. She was hired by Hasbro, Inc. to develop Twister Moves, a remake of the original game Twister and to choreograph their star-studded special events around the nation featuring Nick and Aaron Carter, Jesse McCartney, and Nick Cannon. Her patriotic work with AKA Productions and Pro Sports MVP led her to create USO style performances for the Eagles Cheerleaders to perform at military bases in Iraq, Kuwait, Bosnia and Kosovo.

Suzy founded the Garden State Dance Festival, an annual event that gives emerging choreographers and dancers an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents. As artistic director, Suzy has enhanced the artistic appreciation of dance by presenting a wide variety of artist and art forms. Her eclectic approach provides a unique style that has made the Garden State Dance Festival a prestigious event. She is also the theatrical choreographer at the University of Pennsylvania for the Mask and Wig Club, an all-male Ivy League theater group and adjunct faculty at the University of the Arts. Suzy is known for her exceptional work in directing, producing and choreographing special events for Dance Fusion, a national entertainment company that she led for over ten years that included performances at major sporting events including the NCAA Final Four Basketball Tournament - Hoop City Tour and the National Hockey League All Star Game.
