With the crowd at a fevered pitch, Lincoln Financial Field was the place to be on Sunday night. The defense was introduced and the crowd went bonkers when Brian Dawkins, crawling on all fours and gyrating wildly, was introduced for his first action since Week 2.

Shawn Andrews and Trent Cole, along with Sav Rocca served as captains for the game. Dallas called "heads" and the flip came up "tails." The Eagles elected to receive.

Nick Folk kicked off and Correll Buckhalter, deep to return the kickoff, took the kick from the 10-yard line to the 36-yard line for a 26-yard return. On first down from there, Donovan McNabb, operating out of the shotgun, had time, saw nobody open and stepped up and looked to scramble. He was hit from behind by Marcus Spears and DeMarcus Ware  -- Spears was credited with a forced fumble -- and the football popped loose. Dallas' Bradie James recovered at the Eagles 37-yard line.

Julius Jones was stacked up for no gain on first down. Tony Romo threw for Jason Witten on second down and he was tackled by Brian Dawkins after a 4-yard gain. On third and 6, Romo threw for Terrell Owens, who made the catch, ran away from Sheldon Brown and gained 23 yards to the 10-yard line. Owens caught the ball in the middle of the field and turned to the right sideline for the gain.

Jones carried on first down from there and went right for a gain of 3 yards. Marion Barber carried left for a gain to the 2-yard line, a 5-yard gain. Romo, working from the shotgun, handed off inside to Jones on third down and Jones went up the middle for an easy touchdown.

Dallas drove 37 yards in 6 plays, taking 3:29 off the clock to take a 7-0 lead.

Buckhalter returned the next kickoff to the 25-yard line, a 15-yard return, and the Eagles started their second possession there. On first down, from the shotgun again, McNabb threw too high for Brian Westbrook on a screen pass to the right side for an incomplete. On second and 10, Westbrook carried over left guard for 4 yards. On third and 6 from the 29, McNabb threw complete for Reggie Brown on the right side, and Brown made a nice sideline catch for a first down at the 39-yard line.

McNabb threw incomplete for Brown on first down. Westbrook carried up the middle on second down and Westbrook gained 10 yards to the 49-yard line.

On first down from there, Westbrook carried up the middle for a 3-yard gain to the Dallas 48-yard line. On second and 7, McNabb threw complete for Brown against Jacques Reeves and Brown made the catch, turned upfield and raced into the clear. He was brought down at the 3-yard line.

On first and goal, Westbrook ran left, bounced off of Matt Schobel and squeezed into the end zone. David Akers kicked the PAT to tie the game, 7-7, with 7:38 to go in the first quarter.

The Eagles used 8 plays to drive 75 yards in 3:35.

Dallas started its next possession on the 28-yard line after Isaiah Stanback returned Akers' kickoff. On first down, Romo completed a screen pass to Jones for 5 yards. On second and 5 from the 33, Omar Gaither got to Jones and brought him down after a 2-yard gain. Jones carried on another inside handoff from shotgun formation and picked up a first down at the 38-yard line.

Jones carried left on first down, but was chased down from the backside by Juqua Thomas for no gain. Then Romo threw complete for Owens, who came off of press coverage from William James and got open on a slant route for 9 yards. On third and 1, the Eagles pressured Romo, but Barber released and Romo dumped to him on the right side. Barber turned up the field for a 22 yards to the Eagles 31-yard line.

Romo again sidestepped pressure on first down and dumped to Barber, who picked up 14 yards to the 17-yard line. A pitch right to Barber went for 16 yards to the 1-yard line. On first and goal, Romo used a play-action fake and threw to the right side for tight end Tony Curtis, who went up over Sean Considine for the touchdown catch. Folk added the PAT and Dallas led 14-7 with 2:14 remaining in the quarter.

Dallas drove 72 yards in 9 plays, eating 5:24 off the clock, to take back the lead.

Philadelphia started its third drive at the 26-yard line with 2:06 left in the first quarter. McNabb threw left for Kevin Curtis for an 8-yard gain on first down. On second and 2, Westbrook carried right for 2 yards and a first down. On first and 10 from the 36, McNabb overthrew a streaking Brown down the right side. On second and 10, Westbrook carried up the middle for 6 yards to the 42-yard line. On third and 4, McNabb threw complete on the left side for Curtis against Anthony Henry for 9 yards and a first down at the Dallas 49-yard line as the quarter ended.

On first and 10 from the 49, Westbrook plowed ahead for 7 yards to the 42. McNabb tried to go to L.J. Smith down the seam on second down, but McNabb was hit as he threw and the pass fell short. On third and 3, McNabb stepped up and threw complete for Smith, who made a diving catch at the 31-yard line.

After that 11-yard gain, McNabb threw incomplete on the left side to Curtis. The pass bounced short. On second and 10, a screen to Westbrook was sniffed out by James, who tackled Westbrook for a 5-yard loss. A pass to Buckhalter on third down was incomplete. Sav Rocca came on to punt and got off a beauty that Patrick Crayton caught for a fair catch at the 6-yard line.

Takeo Spikes wrapped up Barber on a run to the left side after a gain of 3 yards. Quintin Mikell helped on the play. Romo rolled right and threw complete for Owens, working against Lito Sheppard, for a 7-yard gain to the 16-yard line. A threw underneath to Barber gained 14 yards to the 30-yard line.

On first down from there, Barber gained 4 yards up the gut. Then Romo, under pressure from Spikes, threw too high for Witten. On third and 6, Romo threw complete for Owens against Sheppard, and Owens made the catch and gained a first down at the 41.

A pass to Owens was incomplete on first down. Barber gained 2 yards on a run to the left side on second down. On third and 8, Sheldon Brown broke up a pass for Witten. It was the Cowboys' first failed conversion after five straight third-down makes.

Mat McBriar got off a 49-yard punt that Reno Mahe returned 8 yards to the Eagles 19-yard line with 7:43 left in the half. Westbrook carried for no gain on first down. A completion to Brent Celek gained 6 yards on second down. On third and 4, McNabb threw for Westbrook, who made the catch but was complete engulfed by Cowboys for no gain. Dallas was penalized 15 yards for a facemask penalty, though, and the Eagles had a first down at the 40-yard line. Terence Newman was called for the penalty.

On first down, McNabb swung out a pass on the left side for Westbrook for a gain of 8 yards. On second and 2, Westbrook carried for 1 yard. On third and 1, Buckhalter was stopped for no gain and the Eagles were forced to punt. The Eagles were beaten inside on both plays.

Rocca's punt went into the end zone for a touchback. Dallas took over on the 20-yard line with 4:21 to go in the first half. On first down, Romo threw a perfect pass to Owens, running an out route, on the left side, for 24 yards against Sheppard. Jones then ran right for 15 yards through a gaping hole to the Eagles 41-yard line.

On first down, Romo threw on the left side again for Owens, who ran a comeback route against Brown for a catch at the Philadelphia 27-yard line. From there, Jones ran right and gained 6 yards. On second and 4, Sheppard intercepted a pass intended for Crayton and returned it 9 yards. Romo rolled right and Sheppard stepped in front of the pass for a huge, huge play.

With 1:53 to go in the half, the Eagles had the ball at their 17-yard line. McNabb threw short for Curtis on first down as his short pass was tipped at the line of scrimmage. On second and 10, McNabb threw too low for Curtis on the left side. On third and 10, McNabb threw into the middle of the field for Hank Baskett, who sat down in an open spot. But two defenders were there and Ken Hamlin made the interception, returned it 14 yards and Dallas was in business at the Philadelphia 14-yard line with 1:33 to go.

Barber carried for 3 yards on first down. Barber carried on second down up the gut for 6 yards to the 5-yard line.  Then Barber carried left and carried the pile and reached the end zone for a touchdown. Folk's PAT made it 21-7 with 44 seconds left in the half.

The Eagles ran one play after Buckhalter's kickoff return and lost 3 yards on a screen pass to Westbrook and the half ended.

Isaiah Stanback took the David Akers kickoff from the 1-yard line and got good blocking along the right sideline as Chris Gocong and Joselio Hanson were among the Eagles who tried to bring him down. Finally, Stanback went out of bounds at the 36-yard line after a gain of 35. On 1st down, Romo hit Julius Jones for a 6-yard gain. On 2nd and 4, Barber ran for 3 yards to set up a 3rd and short. The Cowboys continued their success on 3rd down as Barber plowed his way for a 10-yard gain. The Cowboys cashed in as Terrell Owens lined up in the slot, caught a short pass from Romo, broke a Lito Sheppard tackle and went into the end zone for a 45-yard touchdown. The Eagles were set up to stop the run, but the Cowboys extended their lead to 28-7. Quintin Mikell read run and couldn't provide any support.

Correll Buckhalter took the kickoff from the 4-yard line up the right hash to the 29-yard line. Out of the shotgun on 1st down, Brian Westbrook gained 11 yards on a rush up the middle. Donovan McNabb hit Kevin Curtis on a short out to the left side for a gain of 7 at the 47-yard line. Westbrook took the handoff and ran behind Jon Runyan for a 2-yard gain on 2nd down. On 3rd and 1, McNabb does a great job of eluding Marcus Spears. He runs to the right side where he hits L.J. Smith on a short pass. Smith runs across the field to the left side and gains 23 yards and the first down. On 1st down from the Dallas 28-yard line, McNabb hit Curtis on a crossing route for a gain of 9. On 2nd down, Westbrook gained 2 yards up the middle to the 17-yard line for a first down. On 1st down, Greg Ellis sacked McNabb. McNabb had pressure from both sides, stepped up in the pocket and had nowhere to go. It was a loss of 6 on the play. On 2nd down, McNabb was flushed out of the pocket again, he rolled to the right where he threw a dart into the end zone for a lurching L.J. Smith, but he was out of bounds despite making the nice diving catch. On 3rd and 16, 2 WR right, play-action, screen to Westbrook for a short gain. David Akers nailed the 36-yard field goal.

Stanback from the 4 took the ball up the middle for a gain of 18 to the 22-yard line, Stewart Bradley on the stop. False start penalty on Flozell Adams prior to the snap moved the ball back to the 17-yard line. On 1st down, shotgun, handoff to Julius Jones, behind left guard for 7 yards. Jones took the handoff on 2nd down and ran around the right tackle for a gain of 11. On 1st down, T.O. beat Dawkins on a slant and caught the ball over the middle of the field for a 15-yard gain. Chris Gocong came on the blitz. On 1st down from the Eagles' 48, Romo hit Jones for a screen for 11 yards. At the end of the play, LaJuan Ramsey ran into Jones' helmet with his own helmet and was called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. On 1st down from the 22-yard line, Barber gained two yards. On 2nd down, Romo threw a great fade for Jason Witten, who caught the ball over Will James for the touchdown on the right side of the end zone.

Folk hit a short kick which Buckhalter picked up at the 8-yard line. He returned it to the 18 where the ball was knocked loose. Sam Hurd knocked the ball out, and Brent Celek came up with the recovery. On 1st down, Westbrook, singleback, took the handoff and gained 6 behind William Thomas. On 2nd down, McNabb hit Westbrook on a quick out to the right side, Roy Williams made the tackle. On 1st down from the 29, singleback, play-action, McNabb danced around before he went to the left side and was tackled by Akin Ayodele but not before he gained 1 yard. On 2nd and 9, Baskett in motion, screen to Westbrook, Jacques Reeves made the tackle. Ken Hamlin was called for a late hit on the play. Westbrook's pass went for 19 yards and add 15 on the penalty. From the Dallas 36, Buckhalter bounced back after contact, juked to the right and got back to the line of scrimmage. On 2nd down, McNabb quickly rolled out to the right and Reggie Brown couldn't come up with it along the sideline. On 3rd and 10, shotgun, singleback, 3 WR, William Thomas could only watch as DeMarcus Ware beat him and sacked McNabb for a 7-yard loss. Sav Rocca hit an end-over-end punt to the 11 where Patrick Crayton called for a fair catch.

On 1st down, Bunkley stopped Barber for a loss of 1.

Quarterback Tony Romo hit Terrell Owens for a gain of seven, Joselio Hanson and Quintin Mikell made the stop. On 3rd down, the Eagles brought the blitz and Romo hit Owens in single coverage on Hanson for a gain of 23 yards. From the 40-yard line, Barber went behind the right tackle where he was swarmed for only a 1-yard gain. On 2nd down, Romo hit Witten deep, Quintin Mikell nailed Witten but stayed up. Will James tried to make the tackle, but only got his helmet. Witten gained 53 yards on the play to the 6-yard line. On 1st down, Barber was stopped for no gain by Mike Patterson, but Omar Gaither was called for a face mask penalty which went half-the-distance to the goal line. On 1st down, the Eagles went offsides and the penalty stood when Barber only gained 1 yard. Brodrick Bunkley stuffed Barber on 1st down at the 2-yard line. On 2nd down, Romo threw the ball at the right side of the end zone for Terrell Owens, but Brian Dawkins was there on the coverage. Patterson and Sean Considine stuffed Barber on the right side for a 2-yard loss on 3rd and goal. The Cowboys settled for a 22-yard field goal by Nick Folk.

Buckhalter returned the ensuing kickoff to his 29. McNabb, working out of the shotgun, hooked up with Curtis for 18 yards. He came right back to Curtis on the next play, but was incomplete with a deep throw. On second-and-10 from the 47, Westbrook picked up 4 yards around left end. The offense kept the chain moving with McNabb's 9-yard pass to Hank Baskett. From the Dallas 40, McNabb hit Westbrook over the middle for 13 yards. From Dallas' 27, Westbrook was stopped for no gain. Following a false start penalty and an incompletion, McNabb completed a pass to Westbrook which netted 10 yards. On fourth-and-5, McNabb found Westbrook for 5 yards. From Dallas' 17, McNabb completed a 7-yard pass to Westbrook. Two incompletions set up a fourth-and-3 from the Dallas 10. Following a timeout, McNabb connected with Baskett on a slant route for 10 yards and a touchdown. With under five minutes remaining, Dallas led 38-17.

Dallas recovered Philadelphia's onside kick attempt. Brad Johnson relieved Romo at quarterback for Dallas. The Cowboys offense ran three straight running plays before punting the ball back to Philadelphia.

Following a touchback, McNabb started things with a 7-yard pass to Westbrook. The same combination netted 2 yards on second down. Westbrook made first-down yardage with a 4-yard run up the middle. From the Eagles' 33, McNabb threw a pair of incomplete passes before the two-minute warning. On third-and-10, McNabb completed a 9-yard pass to Baskett. McNabb completed a short pass to Westbrook on fourth down and Westbrook turned that into a 14-yard gain. From Dallas'  44, McNabb threw incomplete for Brown. He went back to Brown on the next play but the pass was intercepted by Anthony Henry.

From Dallas' 36, Johnson took a knee as Dallas simply ran out the clock.
